[Poem] Timo Schmitz: “Season doesn’t matter” (2013)

A corner, so lonely in the dust,

The voices that the wind trusts,

So fast coming near and happiness comes true,

July, my heart still beats in passion for you.

When I feel lonely I feel the mood of winter,

Somehow warm, but in heart, the pain feels like a splinter,

Don’t go away my July, I know August is coming soon.

So hold my hand and follow me as long as I can dream.

June is warm and lovely,

But July is even nicer,

When you move forward you can get wiser,

And you will understand the summer of life.

A corner so lonely in the dust,

You disappear behind the corner that you trust,

So far away and happiness comes true,

I’m still happy even without you.
