Overcoming our alienation with God

“The whole heart must be yielded to God, or the change can never be wrought in us by which we are to be restored to His likeness. By nature we are alienated from God.”

Ellen G. White: Steps to Christ, 1892, Chapter 5.

This is the actual meaning of the story around Adam and Eve: Human-beings repelled God from the paradise as it is written in the Zohar, and through this act, human-beings lost the touch with their Creator. Today’s problems in the world show how much man alienated from God’s plan. And God has a plan for us, as He wants us to repair the world (tikkun olam). [cp.
