[Poem] Timo Schmitz: “Ocean of Love” (2013)

It doesn’t matter how far I dive,

It doesn’t matter whether I will survive,

I am afraid that I will drown,

In the ocean of love.

Every mountain I will climb for you,

Every path I will go for you,

And walk through the July,

The vintner prepares the wine.

After all your behavior, I know,

It doesn’t matter how far I dive,

I know that I will survive,

Because if you will try to drown me,

I will surely find a rescue.
